The "FPC" project is a generative tiling experiment that explores the deconstructionism architecture movement of the mid-late 1900s. Through the destruction and manipulation of the iconic Follies of Parc De La Villette, each tile takes on the characteristic of broken UPCs. Expressions in monochromatic minimalism uses opposition of forms to create a sense of depth and scale within a 2d plane. These contrasting colors highlights a distinction in the forms separation and connection in massing volume.
each generative tile has the following set of principles that guides its creation
canvas size: 900 x 900px
Horizontal sliced array: 0-2 slices
Vertical sliced array: 30-90 slices
Fill probability: < 60%
